The Don

In The Don, the player takes on the role of a member of a mafia crime family, aiming to usurp the Don and become the new Godfather of the gang. 

The game will revolve around controlling territory and gaining the favor of the Don through Prestige currency. Players will be given Favors from the Don, which are quests that players can follow in order to earn Prestige and improve their standing in the family. The players will fight over limited territory and drag each other down in their attempts to become the Don’s favorite member of the family, even possibly attempting to kill each other as they vie for power and attention. The basic game loop works through players attempting to complete their Favor from the Don, expanding their territory to new or occupied land, using a Territory’s ability, or even placing a hit on another player. The winner is determined when a player completes their personal Motive and has enough Prestige to allow them to overthrow the Don and take control of the family.
